Welcome to Ikhala
Ikhala Trust is a not for profit community grant maker and development incubator for small, community based organisations operating in South Africa. Our Development Goal Communities in the South Africa increasingly influence their own development and make use of local assets. Objective One Communities are benefitting from improved and expanded services from their community-led organizations. Objective Two Community grant makers and other stakeholders participating in Ikhala Trust-led research and advocacy processes have adopted a strengths-based approach to community grant making and development.
