Bringing Warmth and Joy to Communities in Rural Queenstown

Blankets Distributed in Queenstown

Whilst many of us are snuggled up nice and warm during this cold winter season there are so many people out there who year in and year out have to brave the cold – BUT through the generosity of the Knitter Knatter ladies from a Retirement Home in Port Elizabeth we were able to distribute 4 bags of jerseys, caps, blankets and bedsocks to children and the elderly and to TOP it off we also gave them SILK Cadbury chocolates which we received through a generous donation from Mondelez International which brought smiles to everyone’s faces who received them.

It’s the little acts of kindness that brings so much joy and we thank everyone who helped us to spread the gifts we received.

These two little boys whom we met along our way to our warm and snuggly Bed & Breakfast were so creative – they used their little wire cars to transport their fire-wood to their homestead!!

It’s experiences like these that make a tough job a little lighter every day!!
